Year 10 students

Year 10 is the perfect time to start thinking about what you will be doing after you finish school. Box Hill Institute helps make that decision easier.

We have a variety of courses available to young learners who are over 15 years old at the time of enrolment.

At Box Hill Institute the Growth And Pathways (GAP) and Vocational Education and Training in School (VETiS) programs have been designed for students who are continuing with their secondary studies at school.

We offer a variety of VET in school certificates so you can complete your studies at school while also gaining a qualification. We have VCE subjects that your school may not be able to provide and our short courses in the arts will ensure that your folio preparation skills are impressive.

For students who want to leave school but continue their education, we offer courses such as the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL), VCE, pre–apprenticeships, apprenticeships and work education certificates.

It is also an important time to start attending Open Days run by TAFEs and universities and discussing your future with staff and current students. Box Hill Institute runs an Open Day in August each year and also offers year round access via a digital Open Day.
