Life Skills Program
The Life Skills Program aims to help apprentices in trade areas across the Institute – including building and furniture design, automotive, transport and engineering, electrical and refrigeration and hospitality and tourism.
The program coordinator works in the Centre for Student Support Services. The program is developed and delivered with those who teach apprentices.
Sessions are designed to build life management skills and enhance the welfare of the students. They also meet the requirements of a teaching area. The sessions last between 30 and 55 minutes and formats include tutorials, lectures and workshops.
