Target Audience
Domestic and commercial coffee lovers are welcome.
Course Content
It is assumed that you can operate an espresso machine and the focus of this course is on the milk. Of course coffees will be extracted so you can practice your pouring but you will mainly focus on how to get the texture and temperature of the milk perfect so you are able to make patterns in the cream.
You will be advised on what is the best equipment to use and how to manage temperature and viscosity -
- tilt the jug
- keep the nozzle just under the top of the milk
- make the milk swirl around the jug
- steam it until it has the consistency of paints
- don't scold the milk and pour it slow into a cup held on an angle
Lot of clues given and lots of practice encouraged.
