What does this course involve?

Enhance your skills as an automotive technician or mechanic with this hands-on course.

You will learn how to analyse and evaluate light vehicle engine and fuel system faults, install LPG and CNG fuel systems, and overhaul airconditioning components.
Learn how to develop and apply electrical and electronic systems procedures and create document specifications and procedures.

This course is also available to international students.

What further study options will I have?

You may wish to progress into the Diploma of Automotive or relevant diplomas in Automotive management, performance enhancement or motorsport.

You may also wish to undertake specialised short course programs such as licensing for alternative automotive fuels (LPG installation and repair) or automotive air-conditioning licensing or licensed vehicle testing.

You must have successfully completed Certificate III in Automotive or equivalent.
