What does this course involve?

If you’re working as a process support worker in the chemical and oil or refining industries, this course will give you essential operational, supervisory and technical skills.
You will learn how to relay and respond to information, respond to emergency situations and participate in workplace safety procedures. You will also learn how to get the best out of operating systems, trial new process products and manage plant shut downs and restarts.
Develop your leadership and training skills, learn how to implement an operational plan and plan, conduct and review assessments.

This course may provide you with employment opportunities as a process plant operator at a supervisory level, in the chemical or oil industries. The skills you gain will have a particular emphasis on practical management of workgroups and the safe use of the equipment those groups use.
