What does this course involve?

This course is designed to give you the skills and training to work in human resource support roles.
You will learn how to recruit, select and induct staff, review human resources functions and support performance management functions. You will also learn how to implement industrial relations procedures.
This course covers customer service, financial and general information. You will gain relationship management, communication and risk management skills.

What employment opportunities will I have?

Almost all businesses require a human resources department to oversee staff hiring and termination, salaries and the general well-being of employees. Typical employers include large private enterprises, large government organisations and human resource recruitment consultancies. At the Certificate IV level, administration roles within the human resources area include administrative positions in a human resources environment.
Typical areas of work include; Recruitment, Occupational health and safety, Employee and industrial relations or Computerised human resources management record systems.

Will my previous experience or study count?

Advanced Standing is approved recognition of prior learning that is displayed as an Exemption (EX) on the student’s academic record. Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) takes into account the knowledge and skills you’ve already gained through your previous education and work.
