What does this course involve?

Build on previously learned skills or your existing business experience with this course.

You will learn essential business skills such as developing text documents and spreadsheets, maintaining financial records and creating presentations.

You will learn how to organise meetings, coordinate business resources and deliver customer service and various business-related subjects.

This course is also available to international students.

What further study options will I have?

After successful completion you will have many options for further study. These could include the Diploma of Business or may lead to either Diploma or Advanced Diploma programs in various business specialisations.

Can I apply?

You must have at least one of the following:

  • successfully completed Year 12
  • successfully completed the majority of Certificate III in Business or other relevant qualifications
  • experience working in support roles without formal qualifications.

How do I apply?

VTAC and direct entry - rolling enrolments.
All direct and VTAC applicants will be assessed individually and advised on a study plan to meet their goals.
A Year 12 applicant with no relevant experience will be eligible to study at Certificate IV level for six months, progress to a Diploma for six months and complete an Advanced Diploma in a further six months.
If you have relevant experience or another qualification you may be advised you can enroll directly into a Diploma or Advanced Diploma.
All applicants through VTAC will receive priority processing for beginning of year offers. You must use the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) process. Details of the VTAC application process are at www.vtac.edu.au and in the VTAC Guide, which is available from leading newsagents and libraries. If the Institute still has vacancies after the VTAC places have been offered, direct applicants will be processed.

Fee for Service - this course will cost $5,244.00 if you aren't eligible for government subsidised training.
