6 months for students who have a Diploma of Marketing or equivalent, or relevant industry experience.

2 years for Year 12 graduates, (which will include the study of Certificate III in Business, Certificate IV in Marketing and Diploma of Marketing).

What does this course involve?

This is the final stage (6 months) of a 2 year full time course from year 12 entry. You will have completed the Diploma of Marketing prior to enrolling, or have vocational experience working in a Marketing environment, but without any formal qualifications.

Develop the skills and knowledge needed for senior marketing roles with this course. You will gain a thorough understanding of marketing principles and learn to exercise leadership and strategic direction. Learn how to manage marketing processes and market research activities. You will also develop marketing plans and create organisational marketing objectives.

Entrance requirements

  • Diploma of Marketing or equivalent
  • Relevant employment experience in industry will be considered.
  • English Language Proficiency

  • A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.

    Cost

    $AUD5,250 per 6 months full time, plus amenities and materials fees.

    What employment opportunities will I have?

    This course may provide you with employment opportunities as a marketing coordinator, sales coordinator or public relations coordinator.

    What further study options will I have?

    You will be able to apply for the Associate Degree at Box Hill Institute or other courses at a more advanced level at other institutions and possibly receive credit for studies already undertaken.
