Duration

6 months for students who have a Certificate III in International Trade or equivalent, or relevant industry experience.

1 year for year 12 graduates (which will include the study of Certificate III in International Trade).

Intake dates

July intake for students who currently hold a suitable Certificate III qualification.

What does this course involve?

This is the second stage (6 months) of a 2 year full time course from year 12 entry. You will have completed the Certificate III in International Trade prior to enrolling, or have vocational experience working in an International Trade environment, but without having any formal qualifications.

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who use well-developed international trade skills and a broad knowledge base in a wide variety of international trade contexts. The application of solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems, and analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources will become a major focus.

Entrance requirements

  • Certificate III in International Trade or equivalent.
  • Relevant employment experience in industry will be considered.
  • English Language Proficiency

  • A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
  • A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.

    Cost

    $AUD5,250 per 6 months full time, plus amenities and materials fees.

    What further study options will I have?

    After successful completion, you may apply for study in the Diploma of International Business and Advanced Diploma of Business Management programs.
