What does this course involve?

This course will help you start a career in international trade, and assist supervisors or managers with international trade activities. You will learn about the international tade environment, learn about the relevant legislation and import and export goods. You will assist in the international transfer of services, prepare business documents and learn about international finance and insurance. This course will also teach you about good customer service, working effectively with diversity and prioritising.

Entrance requirements

Australian Year 12 or equivalent with a pass, however relevant senior employment experience in industry will be considered.

English language proficiency

A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.

$AUD5,650 for 6 months, plus amenities and materials fees.

This course may provide you with employment opportunities as a clerical-administrative worker across all industries. Specific job titles may include export clerk or import clerk.

What further study options will I have?

After successful completion, you may apply to study the Certificate IV in International Trade. After completing the Certificate IV you may be able to continue on to the Diploma or Advanced Diploma level courses.
