What does this course involve?

This course is the hands-on way to get a solid, practical grounding in bookkeeping.

You will learn all the skills necessary to perform bookkeeping tasks in the workplace.

You will receive training in manual and computerised accounting, office procedures, computing and communications. Special emphasis is given to the practical aspects of bookkeeping as a career.

Entrance requirements

Australian Year 12 or equivalent with a pass.
Relevant senior employment experience in industry will be considered.

English Language Proficiency

A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.

What employment opportunities will I have?

The course can lead to jobs such as accounts receivable and payable, bookkeeper including payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliation.

What further study options will I have?

As a graduate of this course you will be able to continue on and study the Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting) which leads to the Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Accounting.
