Self funded places
Self funded places do not attract any government funding for the delivery of the course.
If you are not eligible for a government subsidised place or have only been offered a self funded place, you are charged self funded course fees that cover the cost of your study in that course for the calendar year. Rates are derived for full-cost recovery, and are based on the appropriate number of hours and the nature of the course. Further fees apply in subsequent years.
Please note that:
- self funded places are not subsidised by the government in any way
- self funded course fee rates vary, depending on the length and nature of the course.
- VET FEE-HELP applies to eligible self-funded students enrolling in Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Vocational Graduate Certificate TAFE courses.
Self funded unit fee rates for 2010 for Skills Deepening level courses are listed in the attached Schedule of Unit Tuition Fees listing – see right-hand column. If you require self funded course rates for other level courses, call 1300 BOX HILL and ask to speak to the relevant course coordinator.
