Fee for Service places

Fee for Service (full fee) places do not attract any government funding for the delivery of the course.

If you are not eligible for a government subsidised place or have only been offered a self funded place, you are charged self funded course fees that cover the cost of your study in that course for the calendar year. Rates are derived for full-cost recovery, and are based on the appropriate number of hours and the nature of the course. Further fees apply in subsequent years.

Please note that:

• fee for service funded places are not subsidised by the government in any way 
  
• fee for services funded course fee rates vary, depending on the length and nature of the course. 
  
• VET FEE-HELP applies to eligible self-funded students enrolling in Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Vocational Graduate Certificate TAFE courses

Fee for Service unit fee rates for 2012 for Skills Deepening level courses are listed in the Skills Deepening Courses Schedule of Unit Tuition Fees (see right-hand columns of schedule) located on our VET FEE-HELP page. If you require self funded course rates for other level courses, please see the relevant course entry on our website, or call 1300 BOX HILL and ask to speak to the relevant course coordinator.

In 2012, a Fee for Service fee also incorporates a Pre-training Review (ACER Test) fee of $10 for all commencing students.
