Pathways Program (Formerly GAP)

A Pathways Program is a TAFE taster program for students who are in Years 9, 10 or 11. Pathways accommodates students seeking to explore career options and subjects away from the traditional offerings of the secondary system. Pathways programs also give students the opportunity to experience the TAFE environment and acquire a sense of tertiary education.

Pathways programs run for one semester and students are eligible to participate in both semesters. Pathways programs are offered as a full day per week or one afternoon per week please check the times for the course you are applying for.
 
Pathways courses are not an equivalent of an industry component of VCAL as students do not receive the required competencies or complete the number of hours that are required in the VCAL program.
