Tuition Fee Discounts and Concessions
You will pay the relevant category concession fee, listed in the Tuition Fee Rate Table, if you hold or are listed as a dependant on:
- Commonwealth Health Care Card (HCC)
- Pensioner Concession Card
- Veterans’ Gold Card
- if you are an Indigenous student
- if you are an Asylum seeker or victim of Human Trafficking (must have ASRC/ARC referral) and you commence your course prior to 30th June 2012
and
Due to recent state government funding and fee policy changes, the Diploma level concession only applies for course commencements up to 30th June 2012. For course commencements from 1 July 2012, no tuition fee concession will be available at the Diploma/Advanced Diploma level.
- you are commencing your studies in 2012, and are studying at the Cert I – IV levels, or are aged under 25* and studying a Diploma/Advanced Diploma level course
- you are a Fee Maintenance student (for all course levels) or
- you are continuing studies in a course you commenced after 1 July 2009, and your course is at the Certificate I - IV level, is an Apprenticeship or Traineeship course, or, you are aged under 25 and your course is at the Diploma/Advanced Diploma level.
Students aged 25 or over (calculated as at 1 January 2012) enrolling in Skills Deepening category courses are not eligible for a tuition fee concession (Indigenous students and Fee Maintenance students excepted).*
If you consider you are eligible for a fee reduction, you must present your valid card/proof at enrolment.
