Tuition Fee Exemptions
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services courses only
A special Commonwealth directed tuition fee exemption is available for Diploma and Advanced Diploma level Children’s Services students in 2012. If you are studying this course in 2012, you will pay no tuition fees providing you are eligible for a government subsidised place.
Registered Job Seekers Only
If you are a job seeker registered with an employment services provider, providing you meet the eligibility criteria for a government subsidised place in a course and you are enrolling in any Certificate I-IV level course, you may be eligible for a full tuition fee exemption. You must provide a copy of your employment services provider referral at enrolment to be entitled to the tuition fee waiver ($0).
Non-custodial Order
If you are a young person required to undertake course of study pursuant to a non-custodial order (under the Children, Youth & Families Act 2005), you will be entitled to a tuition fee waiver ($0) at enrolment. You must present your referral from the Department of Human Services at enrolment.
Students from the Judy Lazarus Transition Centre
If you are a prisoner (under the Corrections Act 1986) and from the Judy Lazarus Transition Centre only, you will be entitled to a tuition fee waiver ($0) at enrolment. You must present your referral from either the Department of Human Services or the Judy Lazarus Transition Centre at enrolment
