Our courses in Floristry, Hairdressing and Beauty (specialising in Day Spa training) deliver the skills which will equip you for a professional career.
With state of the art facilities opened in 2010, studying at the Aveda Institute at Box Hill Institute is a dream for students to learn and work in a space that encourages creativity and excellence.

Training workplaces and retail centre
The Centre offers three services to the public which are run by our own students, The Salon on Elgar, Flowers on Elgar and The Aveda Day Spa which give our students real-life experience in operating a functioning business, and our community the chance to experience quality beauty treatments and hair services and urchase Aveda products. Take home stunning floral arrangements from the next generation of Floral Designers at a fraction of the regular cost.
Partnerships
The Centre for Hair, Beauty and Floristry has a long-established partnership with both Aveda and Interflora.
The Aveda relationship has seen the opening of the Aveda Institute at Box Hill Institute, the only Institute of its kind in Australia, where students will receive Aveda training alongside their Box Hill Institute and nationally accredited qualification.
The Centre has taken on the Aveda values of environmental sustainability. The new training facility has been built to reflect these values with features such as angled windows which encourage natural light and a water filtration plant.

Scholarships and awards
Hair, Beauty and Floristry students have the opportunity to apply for several Institute-wide scholarships.
