The Centre for Creative Industries (a recent amalgamation of the Centre for Performing Arts and the Centre for Media, Design and Arts) enjoys a reputation as a leader in high-quality, industry-relevant training.
Our courses in Art and Design, Dance, Fashion, Live Production and Theatre, Screen and Media, Music, Music Business, Professional Writing and Editing and Television and Broadcasting, train the professionals of tomorrow. This is a vibrant and constantly changing arena and we ensure our staff stays in touch with current trends. Many are also practitioners working at their craft and involved in industry. The Centre offers two services to the public which are student-run, LaSH (Lighting and Sound Hire) and MiBO (Music Industry Business Office) which give our students real-life experience in operating a functioning business.
