Areas of Responsibility

 

Maree is responsible for the management and implementation of the Institute’s major capital projects development and other Institute wide strategic projects as designated by the Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Information Officer. 
 
This includes:

  • Preparation of briefing and tender documents to appoint architectural and other consultants
  • Co-ordination of the project briefing process with key stakeholders across the Institute
  • Management of the tender process to appoint building contractors for major capital projects
  • Executive Officer to the Capital Projects Committee
  • Implementation of the Institute Resource Smart Strategy.

 
Professional Background

 

Maree has extensive experience in the TAFE sector and has worked as a General Manager/Executive Director with responsibility for corporate services as well as undertaking project management roles for the development and implementation of major capital projects including campus refurbishments as well as the development of significant new facilities.

 

Maree has also been a consultant to industry within the TAFE context and has been involved in the management and development of Facility and Human Resource Master Plans as well as an Institute IT Strategic Plan.
