Partnership Overview
Box Hill Institute's partnership with Aveda began in 1997. Box Hill Institute is proud to be the only Aveda Institute for the Asia Pacific area.
 
The Aveda Institute Melbourne at Box Hill Institute aims to be the Aveda education and training destination in the region for the spa and hairdressing industry with a strong focus on wellbeing. The wellbeing focus aligns with the Aveda mission to care for the world in which we live.

Student Benefits
Students can work in the national and international Aveda network of salons and spas and have the opportunity to participate in Institute exchange programs in Canada and the United States.
 
Staff Benefits
Box Hill Institute staff benefit from ongoing training utilising curriculum and delivery techniques through the Aveda Global Educators.  Professional development opportunities are available to Institute staff to gain advanced training in the key Aveda areas and to gain qualification as an Aveda coach. Staff and industry members can also attend Aveda sponsored Aveda Education Summits and congresses.  Aveda convenes two Institute Owners Network meetings annually to enable Institute owners to discuss common concerns and learn how Aveda plans to support the Institutes over the next 12 months.
