Areas of Responsibility

This position is one of four General Managers responsible for the leadership and management of the Institute, as part of the Executive Management team of the Institute. Teaching Centres include Biotechnology & Animal Sciences, Health & Community Services, Student Support Services and Vocational Access & Education.

 

The position also includes the key result areas across the institute of student management, learning options for youth and secondary school relations. Other key accountabilities include the design and development of a Nursing Skills Centre of Excellence facility and associated business plan.

 

Professional Background

Angela started her career in vocational education and training, teaching business related subjects at the School of Mines, Ballarat, now known as the University of Ballarat in 1980.

 

She subsequently taught and acted in management roles at Collingwood TAFE, (now NMIT), before obtaining a management position as Head of Department in the Office Administration and then the Centre Manager for Business Programs at Box Hill Institute  

 

In 2003 she obtained the position of General Manager, Teaching and Students before moving into her current position of General Manager, Health Science, Access & Students.
