Music
If you wish to pursue a career in the music industry, get started on the right foot at Box Hill Institute. You can further your talents in the contemporary music scene whether you are a budding songwriter, a band member or a mixer. You can major in audio production, composition (particularly for screen media), performance, musical theatre or choose a career in music business and management.
Dance (Teaching & Management)
If you have had some dance experience or perhaps had a career in dance and now want to mover into studio dance teaching, then this is the course for you. You will learn about teaching students of different ages and levels, how to stage a dance production and manage the business of running a dance school. You will be taught by experts who bring dance and studio teaching experience to the course.
Live Production (Theatre & Events)
If you have an interest in how things work behind the scenes, this course has it all. Learn about lighting to an advanced level, live sound production and stage management techniques. We pride ourselves on equipping theatre technicians with high employability skills.
Fitness
For a career in fitness training or personal training, our staff will ensure you have the right mix of knowledge and skills to succeed in this dynamic industry.
Our facilities
New technology is a priority. We have three computer labs featuring Apple Mac and Digidesign™ Mbox hardware for Pro Tools™, Logic Audio and a host of computer music software applications. Four Pro Tools studios provide students with access to recording and production. Our dance studios are well-equipped. Lighting, stage management and live sound studios provide work simulation environments and our Music Industry Business Office (MiBO) is designed for real work practices.
