| Box Hill Institute has demonstrated a commitment to the development of vocational skills in young people since the introduction of the dual-recognition programs commencing in 1994. In partnership with four secondary schools, the Institute delivered dual recognition programs to a very small number of students across four study areas. Since then, the VET in Schools program has experienced enormous growth. In partnership with over 120 secondary schools Box Hill Institute is committed to delivering high-quality, vocational applied education programs and has put in place an infrastructure that supports successful study and social development for young people studying VCE and VCAL programs in 2008. Programs are current and relevant to industry needs, staff are highly trained and industry experienced, and programs lead to employment opportunities or further study options.
