TraineeshipsBox Hill Institute provides a range of traineeship courses that trainees can complete at the same time as their on-the-job training. Traineeships are an in-depth and practical way of entering an industry. Trainees gain experience in their field of choice, by experienced professionals whilst receiving payment for their work. In conjunction with their workplace, Box Hill Institute students have the option of choosing two different study modes. They can complete their studies by block placement, that is, one week of classes every four to six weeks of working. Or they are able to complete it by coming to classes one day a week. Generally a traineeship can take up to 12 months to complete on either a full-time or part-time basis. However, the option for students to ‘fast-track’ is always available by picking up extra subjects for the duration of their traineeship. |
