Student Testimonial – Camilla Nicoll

“The Institute the staff are fabulous...they are so accurate and they push you, as a writer you need that."

Box Hill Institute graduate and Professional Writer, Camilla Nicoll, doesn’t like the assumption writers are lazy, if you suggest anything similar, beware...Camilla holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon-Do.

With her involvement in Martial Arts, Camilla wanted to investigate the many different styles of the sport, such as Aikido, Ju Jitsu and Kendo.

The research turned into a recent feature article for the Herald Sun. “Lot’s of people commented on the article and told me well done, which was good to hear,” she said.

This story wasn’t the only one Camilla tackled and had published. She also had a story in Insight magazine, which was about someone living in a monastery in Thailand. “All the articles I write are something I have an interest in,” Camilla said.

Camilla’s time at the Institute sits favourably with Camilla who enjoyed it’s intimate atmosphere. “The Institute the staff are fabulous...they are so accurate and they push you, as a writer you need that,” she said.

You had better hope they don’t push too hard, you never know what could happen.
