2009 Box Hill Institute Scholarships

Box Hill Institute offers the largest and most diverse awards program in the state VET system.

We are proud to work with our industry and community partners in encouraging students to undertake vocational education and rewarding passionate and committed students. Awards are available across a range of disciplines and qualifications ranging from certificates to degrees and generally cover all academic fees and materiasl for one year of study

There are awards based on academic merit, or personal/financial hardship.

Conditions

  1. Continuation of awards is conditional on the successful applicant maintaining satisfactory progress in studies, complying with the rules of the Institute and completing at least 6 months of their course
  2. Box Hill Institute reserves the right not to award any award
  3. Successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application
  4. There is no option for deferrral of awards and no right of review of any decision in relation to awards
  5. Second round offers may be made if a successful recipient of a scholarship does not receive a place in the specified course or does not accept the place offered or the award.

Applications

Your application should consist of

  • The application form, with all sections completed and all selection criteria addressed. Please feel free to attach extra sheets if necessary
  • A covering letter
  • Any documentary or supporting evidence, for example employer recommendations or proof of financial hardship
  • Note: Presentation folders will not be returned to applicants
