| Jobs Plus Apprenticeships Services is a one-stop shop for information and support to employers and those interested in starting an apprenticeship or traineeship. Australian Apprenticeships is the name given to all apprenticeships and traineeships where skills are learnt in a particular industry by working and training on and off the job. To undertake an apprenticeship or traineeship, you must have a job with an employer. Australian Apprenticeships cover traditional apprenticeships such as construction and manufacturing, but also include IT, hospitality and multimedia. In fact, there are now opportunities in more than 500 occupations, in most industries across Australia – more than likely, there's one for you. An apprenticeship or traineeship can be full-time or part-time, and can even start while you're still at school. The length of an apprenticeship or traineeship can vary depending on the industry, the occupation or trade, previous training and how quickly you become competent in the skills undertaken. Generally, you can start at any age. We can provide information on Australian Apprenticeships, organise the paperwork, assist with signing the training contract and advise employers about financial benefits.
