A special moment with Steve McKnight
So began the keynote speech from respected property investor, author and media commentator Steve McKnight, special guest at the Box Hill Institute Business Programs Graduation Ceremony at Box Hill Town Hall on May 26. Mr. McKnight is co-founder and resident expert on PropertyInvesting.com, an independent community for property investors to share ideas. Along with his role as guest speaker, Mr. McKnight was there to present the newly initiated Property Investing.com Business Programs Achievement Scholarship, an award designed to encourage access and equity.
The Property Investing.com Business Programs Achievement Scholarship was awarded to International Business student Allan Mostovoy. Also presented were three scholarships from valued Box Hill Institute partners: the ANZ Business Programs Scholarship, won by Robert Susnig, Nathan Parker and Stephanie Lloyd, the RSM Bird Cameron Accounting Scholarship won by Caroline Langdon, and the Budget Car & Truck rental Scholarship awarded to Melissa Lucarelli.
After an evening of inspiring achievements, it was left for all present to contemplate Steve McKnight’s final thought:
“Use the information you have worked so hard to gain, to improve the world and the lives of those around you. That is why education exists.”
