Prayer Times and Mosque Information
Please note that Box Hill Institute has its own prayer room at Elgar Campus. It is located on the ground floor in Building 9, room G01. The room is next to the offices of Joy Barrett, International Learning and Language Support teacher and Michelle Francis, International Student Programs coordinator. There is an Islamic Society of Victoria poster on the door with the prayer times. If the room is locked, please see reception at International Student Services for a key, as the room is available for use between 9am and 5pm every weekday.
There is another prayer room at Nelson Campus. It is located on the ground floor around the back of the Igloo. The exact location is N1 G138. There is an Islamic Society of Victoria poster on the door with the prayer times. Should the room be locked, please obtain the key from Student Support Services (located opposite the Igloo in N1.G83).

Islamic Council of Victoria
The Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) is the peak body for Muslim organisations in Victoria. The ICV represents Victoria's more than 90,000 Muslims, through its 26 member organisations located throughout metropolitan Melbourne and rural Victoria.
Federation of Australian Muslim Students and Youth (FAMSY)
FAMSY is a National Student and Youth Islamic Organisation with branches throughout most states of Australia.
Islam on Line
The Mission of Islam on Line is to create a unique, global Islamic site on the Internet that provides services to Muslims and non-Muslims in several languages. To become a reference for everything that deals with Islam, its sciences, civilization and nation. To have credibility in content, distinction in design, and a sharp and balanced vision of humanity and current events.
Salam Café
Salam Café is a weekly television program presented by young members of Melbourne's Muslim community. Salam Café is an informal panel show with light-hearted discussion and guest interviews. The program is for everyone, and aims to promote mutual understanding and respect.
