2011 Fees and Charges for International Students

Tuition Fees

We offer both certificate and diploma courses in many subjects. The cost for most certificate and diploma courses is AUD$11,300 per year.

The costs for the following certificate and diploma courses are AUD$12,700 per year:

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology
  specialising in Light Vehicle
• Diploma of Automotive Technology
  
• Diploma of Hospitality
  specialising in Commercial Cookery
• Diploma of Hospitality
  specialising in Patisserie
• Diploma of Laboratory Technology
  specialising in Biotechnology

The costs for the following degree courses are AUD$14,560 per year:

• Associate Degree in Biotechnology
  
• Associate Degree in Commerce
  
• Associate Degree in Computer Systems (Networking)
  
• Associate Degree in Hospitality Management
  
• Bachelor of Applied Business in Music Industry
  
• Bachelor of Applied Music (Audio Production)
  
• Bachelor of Applied Music (Composition)
  
• Bachelor of Applied Music (Performance)
  
• Bachelor of Biotechnology and Innovation
  
• Bachelor of Computer Systems (Networking)
  
• Bachelor of Hospitality Management.

Material Fees
There are also material fees for each subject. The exact amount depends on the course and is calculated at the time of enrolment. It can vary between AUD$100 and AUD$2,500 per year.  

Services and Amenity Fee
AUD$85 per calendar year (fee indexed annually).

Please note that:

• all fees are shown in Australian dollars
  
• all fees quoted are the 2010 calendar year indicative fees correct at the time of this publication
  
• fees may be subject to a small price increase in subsequent calendar years in line with annual Institute fee pricing reviews.

Health Cover
You will also have to pay health cover costs of AUD$429.00 per year.

It is a requirement of the Australian Government that student visa holders take out medical insurance (OSHC) for the duration of their studies. The amount will be shown on your letter of offer.
