| Admission to most courses at Box Hill Institute requires completion of secondary education outside Australia to Year 12 equivalent or Year 12 in Australia (some Certificate courses may be entered after completion of secondary education to Year 11). Special entry for mature aged students (over 18 years of age and out of full-time study for at least one year) is also available and will be considered on the basis of past secondary study, employment skills or work experience. Other admission requirementsSome courses may have additional entry requirements, for example, presentation of a portfolio of designs for fashion, music, design and art courses. Computer literacy is recommended for all courses as computer use may be expected for researching for assignment writing. Entry to TAFE academic courses is based on English proficiency and your academic record. If you do not have a sufficient level of English, you can undertake courses in general and academic English designed specifically for intending students, at Box Hill Institute or any other TAFE institute in Australia. |
