Partnership overview

In 1999 Sidchrome, Stanleyworks’ Automotive Tools Division signed a deal to sponsor the Institute’s Jackson Automotive Studies Centre.

The relationship proved such a success the agreement was extended to sponsor the work area for the Institute’s Certificate I Work Education (Automotive) students.

In 2002 the agreement was extended again to incorporate sponsorship of the facilities and resources used by the Institute’s Building and Furniture studies students.

The extended sponsorship arrangement is part of Stanley’s commitment to help professionals do their best on every job – and to help communities develop and improve.

Student benefits

The partnership with Stanley Works and Sidchrome gives our students the opportunity to use high-quality state-of-the-art tools in the training workshops. Use of hand tools is an important competency for students to learn early in their training; Sidchrome’s support ensures students have the correct hand tool for each application.
