What does this course involve?

This course will help you improve your skills in literacy and numeracy.

You will learn how to read and write basic texts for personal or learning purposes.

You will also learn how to work with time, money, directions and measurement.

What employment opportunities will I have?

This course may help you seek entry-level work in a range of industries. You may wish to improve your chances of finding work by undertaking further study at the Institute.

    Will my previous experience or study count?

    Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) takes into account the knowledge and skills you’ve already gained through your previous education and work. This may be through formal or informal training, paid or unpaid work experience, and can earn you credit if relevant to your chosen course.
