What does this course involve?
The Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) (Senior) provides an alternative way of achieving a Year 12 Certificate.
VCAL is best suited to students who are looking for pathways to further study at TAFE or for employment (such as an apprenticeship).
This full time course will develop your literacy, numeracy, personal development and work related skills.
You will need to choose an industry-based strand depending on your area of interest, current skills and education background. The strand you choose also depends on whether the course is available.
Some examples of possible electives are: automotive, building and construction, business studies, children’s services, community services, engineering, hospitality, information technology, multimedia, psychology.
