What does this course involve?
The Graduate Certificate in Professional Practice Management will provide health and other professionals with a broad and complex range of knowledge and skills required in the establishment and management of their own practice.
If you wish to commence your own new professional practice (eg psychologist, chiropractor, masseur, physiotherapist, naturopath, IT consultant, etc) or are already operating your own professional practice then this course is for you. Alternatively if you are managing or wish to manage someone else’s professional practice or clinic (eg Office Manager in a Medical Practice) then this course is also designed for you.
What employment opportunities will I have?
This course may provide employment opportunities for:
- Bachelor degree or higher education graduates wanting to establish their own practice (for example as psychologists or physiotherapists)
- Diploma or advanced diploma graduates or para-professionals wanting to establish their own practice (for example as naturopaths or masseurs)
- Those who have significant experience in professional practice or clinic management wishing to expand their knowledge and skills in that area (for example as an office manager in a dental practice)
