If you're interested in employment as an administrative officer, this course gives you the basic knowledge and skills necessary across all clerical and administrative roles.
You will need a training contract with an employer, and you must have previously registered with a New Apprenticeship Centre.
The course focuses on using the complex functions of software programs, maintaining business technologies, promoting products and services, coordinating business resources in a team environment, and developing presentation skills and recruitment or selection techniques.
You will learn effective communication, sound teamwork, competent use of business technology, accurate processing of financial documents and efficient information handling.
You will be prepared for employment as an administrative officer across all industries, with some understanding of the role of the supervisor.
