What does this course involve?
This course will offer you a comprehensive introduction into professional electronic games development.
This program is most suited to preparation for further study in games development, particularly in the areas of programming, 3D modeling and 3D animation.
The course covers the two key areas of games development, allowing students to gain a clear understanding of the workings of each, and how they come together to create the final game. From this, students are able to clearly define which path their game design career will follow – programming or modeling/animation.
Entrance requirements
Australian Year 12 or equivalent with a pass. Relevant senior employment experience in industry will be considered.
English Language Proficiency
A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.

Cost
This course is part fee and part government subsidised.
For a local student with no fee reduction the total cost is Aus $5939
What employment opportunities will I have?
Although you gain skills necessary for a career in game design (particularly as a games programmer, 3D modeller or animator), the purpose of this course is to prepare you for further study.
