What does this course involve?
This course is designed to introduce you to professional games development, particularly in the programming and modelling/animation.
Learn how to plan a game from making presentations, to managing projects to working with others to produce it.
You’ll create 3D digital models, images and digital animation, and learn how to manipulate digital images.
You’ll also learn how to script a game, write interactive sequences for multimedia and create codes for applications.
What employment opportunities will I have?
Although you gain skills necessary for a career in game design (particularly as a games programmer, 3D modeller or animator), the purpose of this course is to prepare you for further study.

You may wish to progress into the Diploma of Multimedia (Games Development) or other game-design related courses.

- To apply for a full time position in this course you must use the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) process. Details of the VTAC application process are at www.vtac.edu.au and in the VTAC Guide, which is available from leading newsagents and libraries from August. If the Institute still has vacancies after the VTAC places have been offered, you will be able to apply directly to the Institute.
