What does this course involve?
This course is designed to for joinery apprentices who want to become competent off-site construction tradespeople.
Learn all about the techniques of the joinery trade such as assembling components, applying and installing sealants and constructing stairs, windows and doors.
You値l learn how to set out and assemble such things as cabinet, showcases and workstations. You値l also prepare and assemble aluminium framework, and cut and install glass.
You値l also learn how to maintain inventories and control stock, package manufactured products for transport and carry out Occupational Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.

Length of course
Part time - 3 years (1 day a week at Box Hill Institute) on the other days you work with your employer.
