What does this course involve?
If you want to advance your career in Australia’s ever-expanding retail industry, this traineeship will prepare you for positions such as senior retail assistant or supervisor.
You must have a training contract with an employer and have previously registered with a New Apprenticeship Centre.
You will learn the skills and knowledge needed to move from trainee to higher positions such as senior retail assistant or supervisor.
You’ll learn advanced techniques such as how to operate retail information technology systems, how to produce financial reports and how to maintain and order stock.
You will also learn leadership skills to enable you to coordinate work teams, implement staff training and maintain employee relations.
What employment opportunities will I have?
The retail industry is one of Australia’s largest and is constantly expanding. On completion of this course, you will be eligible for employment in the field of retail operations, in positions such as senior retail assistant or supervisor.
