What does this course involve?
The HLT43407 Certificate IV in Nursing (Enrolled/Division 2 Nursing) covers the application of nursing skills and knowledge required to be eligible for enrolment (or registration as a Division 2 Nursing in Victoria) with state and territory nursing and midwifery regulatory authorities.
Entrance requirements
- Australian Year 12 or equivalent
- An overall IELTS score of 5.5 (Academic version) with no band score less than 5.00.
- Instruction is in English, thus ability to handle written and verbal communication in English is essential.
- Students with incomplete secondary education but with relevant employment experience are encouraged to apply.
English Language Proficiency
- An overall IELTS score of 5.5 (Academic version) with no band score less than 5.00.
Special admission requirements
- Current International Police Check (Note: Students will also be required to have a Current Australian Police Check).
- Proof of Immunisation related to Health Care Worker Category A i.e. Diphtheria/Tetanus; Poliomyelitis; Measles/Mumps/Rubella; Varicella Zoster Virus (Chicken Pox); Hepatitis B; Mantoux Test.

This course may provide you with Division 2 Registered Nurse employment opportunities in a range of health settings such as:

- rehabilitation
- mental health
Division 2 nurses work under the direction of a Division 1 nurse and in collaboration with Division 1 and 3 registered nurses to support the health and wellbeing of people.
