What does this course involve?
Learn the basics of electrical theory and maths, and gain practical skills to make your more employable in the fast-growing electrical, security systems or refrigeration or airconditioning trades.
You will learn how to interpret electrical drawings, operate safely in an electrical workshop and use CAD systems within the electrotechnology sector.
Gain skills in identifying, selecting and using equipment in an electrotechnology environment, and carry out general work activities.
You will also learn how interact with clients and deliver a quality service.

You may be eligible to apply for the Certificate III in Electrotechnology.
Can I apply?
- You must have a strong desire to work as an apprentice within the electrical, refrigeration/airconditioning and data communications/security systems industries
- You must have an equivalent Year 11 literacy and numeracy level
- You may also be required to undertake a pre-selection aptitude literacy and numeracy test
