What does this course involve?
This hands-on course will teach you the fundamentals of the electrical trade
To ensure you safely carry out your responsibilities, you値l gain an understanding of occupational health and safety requirements in an electrical industry environment.
You値l learn how to use hand and power tools, maintain, assemble and repair electrical and electronic apparatus, and diagnose faults.
You値l also learn how to mentor and train fellow apprentices in your workplace.
What employment opportunities will I have?
This course may lead to employment opportunities as an assembly or servicing technician in the appliance servicing industry.

You may wish to apply to study the Testing and Tagging Course or move on to the Certificate IV in Electrical.

How will I be selected for this course?
Length of course
Part time 3 years (one day per week) with the 4th year of the apprenticeship spent entirely on-the-job.
