What does this course involve?

Study areas covered include: working with the principles of safe dance teaching for children; ballet; jazz; contemporary; anatomy; stagecraft, production, composition, music reading, and a number of business skills are also explored. Elective studies can also be taken in character or tap dance.
You will gain up-to-date knowledge in the areas of injury prevention, anatomy, and physiology, and learn dance studio management and production technical support skills, as well as the practical elements of teaching.
The course has a high practical content and you will be expected to work hours outside of your class allocations for various presentations.
