What does this course involve?
This course provides a sound basis for Units 3 and 4 (Year 12) of the VCE. Some TAFE courses also require VCE (Units 1 and 2) as an entry standard. If you have not completed Year 11 this course gives you the chance to do so in a different environment. Subjects you can choose from range across the fields of:
artssciencesbusinesslawsocial sciences and information technology.
Entrance requirements
- Successful completion of Australian Year 10 or equivalent, or
- Attempted Australian Year 11 or equivalent.
English Language Proficiency
A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.
Special admission requirements
Year 11 (June, mid-year entry):
Students who have previously studied part or all of Year 11 in Australia, or overseas equivalent may commence Year 11 in June. In this case, students will miss unit 1 but it is possible to complete the required minimum number of VCE units (2-3-4).

Aus $9,500 per year
plus amenities and materials fees.

Course Structure
Year 11 students are expected to study 8 - 10 units during the academic year (4 - 5 units per semester). Units are selected from the subjects listed below.
