What does this course involve?
If you’re currently working in the pet grooming industry, this course will develop your technical skills and knowledge for a range of employment opportunities.
You will learn how to effectively work in the companion animal industry, monitor and maintain companion animal health and provide essential diet and nutrition.
Develop your skills in providing professional animal grooming services to all breeds, provide hydro-bathing services and give training advice to companion animal owners.
You will undertake your training in a simulated pet grooming salon, and you can choose to study how to promote or manage a business.
What employment opportunities will I have?
This course may provide you with employment opportunities as a Pet Groomer in grooming salons, mobile grooming units or as a self-employed pet groomer.

Will my previous experience or study count?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Current Competencies (RCC) takes into account the knowledge and skills you’ve already gained through your previous education and work.
