What does this course involve?
This course focuses on a comprehensive set of generic and specific human resource competencies to enable you to work in various human resource roles. The course provides a focus on developing such skills as learning how to manage performance termination procedures, computer skills and learning how to develop employment policies. It provides training in human resources operations, practice and management.
Special emphasis is given to making sure you understand the legislation associated with human resources, such as employee and industrial relations issues.
Entrance requirements
Australian Year 12 or equivalent with a pass. Relevant senior employment experience in industry will be considered.
English Language Proficiency
A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic).
A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for Internet based.

What employment opportunities will I have?
Almost all businesses require a human resources department to oversee staff hiring and termination, salaries and the general well-being of employees. Typical employers include large private enterprises, large government organisations and human resource recruitment consultancies.
At the Certificate IV level, you would work in administration roles within the human resources area. At the Diploma level you could take on the role of a human resources officer and work with little direct supervision.
