If you want a career in marketing, this course gives you a solid grounding in the basic skills to prepare you for work in such roles as marketing assistant, marketing clerk, sales representative or market research assistant.
You will learn the core principles of marketing philosophy and the basics of business. You will develop the essential skills and techniques employed by marketing practitioners in today's competitive environment, including promoting products and services, profiling the market, analysing consumer behaviour, market research, building client relationships and establishing a marketing mix
This course is also available to international students.

- You must have successfully completed VCE (Year 12) or it's equivalent, or qualify as a mature age applicant

- To apply for a full time position in this course you must use the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) process. Details of the VTAC application process are at www.vtac.edu.au and in the VTAC Guide, which is available from leading newsagents and libraries from August. If the Institute still has vacancies after the VTAC places have been offered, you will be able to apply directly to the Institute.

Will my previous experience or study count?
