If you're interested in a career as a clerical-administrative or receptionist worker, this course gives you the basic knowledge and skills necessary across all business roles.

You will gain in producing business documents, transcribing audio, organising workplace information, scheduling business travel, and recommending and delivering services to clients.

You will learn effective communication, sound teamwork, competent use of business technology, accurate processing of financial documents and efficient information handling.

You will be prepared for a career in administrative or receptionist work across all industries.

This course is also available to international students.

What further study options will I have?

You may also wish to study the Certificate IV in Business at Box Hill Institute. You may also be able to apply for similar courses at a more advanced level at other institutions and possibly receive credit for studies already undertaken.

  • Mature age entry is available if you do not meet the academic requirements
  • You must have successfully completed Certificate II in Business or have equivalent workplace experience
