As you read this information, please note that this course is going to be re-accredited in the coming future. There will be minor changes to the course information provided here.

If you’re interested in doing business that involves international trade, this course prepares you for employment in this field, with real practical experience. It also lays the foundation if you wish to progress further into management.

In this nationally implemented course you will learn generic business skills while acquiring the cross-cultural knowledge necessary for a career in buying and selling goods on the international market.

You'll learn a range of skills including researching international business opportunities, how to market goods and services internationally, risk management, and understanding of international import and export conventions.

Recognising the importance of practical experience, special emphasis is given to work placements and projects during the course.

You are not only taught the basics of business but also how to apply these principles in an international context. Additionally, you will develop important management skills which prepare you for further study in an Advanced Diploma of Business Management (International Business).

This course is also available to international students.
