What do we do?

The Centre for Business Programs provides training from certificate to bachelor degree level.  We specialise in finance (accounting and bookkeeping), business, commerce, international business, marketing, management, sport, recreation and fitness.

The Centre works with individuals seeking new or upgraded vocational or higher educational qualifications.  We also work with clients from both public and private sectors.

Why study with us?

The Centre focuses on making students job ready.  When you graduate you will have applied your classroom skills in the work place through a variety of work placements and training workplaces.  Our teaching focuses on group discussion, role play, guided exercises, practical work, theoretical work and assignments. This all takes place in a highly-supportive environment with small classes.

Our flexible training approach means that students can work in an unstructured or self-paced mode, meaning they need to be self-motivated.  This is well supported with online support.

Graduates can commence employment or go on to further study. Accounting and International Business graduates gain automatic advanced standing and guaranteed entry into our Bachelor of Commerce (Applied).  All graduates can apply to study at partnering universities such as Deakin University and ACU  where they may receive significant credit towards their chosen degree.

Scholarships and Awards

Students have the opportunity to apply for several scholarships and awards specific to the Centre as well as Institute-wide scholarships.  Opportunities for short or extended periods of study overseas (Singapore, USA, Canada and the UK) are also available.
